In 2015, Nido’s Board of Directors adopted a new strategic plan that includes creating a sustainable education model that does not rely solely on tuition-based income. It is only with the participation and support of parents, alumni, faculty and staff, corporate partners, and friends that Nido can realize its vision for the future. To this end, the Board of Directors formed the Nido Endowment for Financial Aid in 2015, and the School launched the first Nido Fund, an annual giving program, in the 2016-2017 school year. The Nido community can contribute to the future success of Nido each year through giving to The Nido Fund and the Endowment, and through long-term, transformational gifts as part of leadership giving.
Founded as a non-profit educational foundation, since 1934, Nido has relied on the generosity of its community — founders, teachers, staff, parents, alumni, and friends — to create the dynamic and innovative school that it is today. Nido’s core values — engagement, ingenuity, adaptability, generosity, and happiness — reflect our history and our future as we educate students to be compassionate contributors to their communities and the world. We invite you to join us as Nido grows together for our future. Please contact Peter Frerichs, Director of Advancement & Alumni Relations at firstname.lastname@example.org, or Emma Shires, Development Officer, at email@example.com for further information on any of our giving programs.
