RACE INFORMATION:

LOCATION: All races start and finish at the Nido Baseball Field

DAY: Saturday, March 14.

START TIMES:

1k - 9:15  (This race will be a combination of pavement and dirt)

     5k & 8k - 9:45  (These two races will start together)

Arrive to registration at least 20 minutes before your race.  Competitors 12 years or younger are not eligible to compete in the 8k.

REGISTRATION: You should plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before your race.  If you have friends who’d like to join on Saturday they can sign up and pay at the race (as long as they arrive early).

ROUTES:  Coming Soon.

The 5k is actually 4.3k, but don’t let the distance fool you, there are two steep hills to climb to earn the Cerro Arriba moniker.  Take it at your own pace and enjoy the Trail Adventure

The 8k will complete the same course as the 5k route, with an additional trail loop starting near the 4k marker.  This is a demanding course, with our strongest runners enjoying the challenge.

HYDRATION: We have sponsorship from Gatorade and they will offer hydration at the Nido Baseball Field and on the trail at the 2.5 km and 4 km points.  Be sure to drink lots of water on Friday.

SHOES:  It is strongly recommended that you use running shoes with good traction as the course will be on variable terrain.

1st AID: We will have support from Clinica Las Condes and our Nido Athletic Medical Team.

DOGS:  Dogs are welcome to join us on the trails, but they MUST be on a LEASH.

POST-RACE ACTIVITIES:  High School students will be leading some activities for our youngest competitors after the races.  The Nido Boosters and some student clubs will be selling post race nourishment.
