The International School Nido de Aguilas

After two months, this week marked the exciting culmination of "The Actor" unit, in which K2 students brought their own original stories to life. Centered on the idea that we tell stories to share who we are and how we feel, this unit has empowered students to explore self-expression through movement, music, and collaboration. After weeks of practicing emotional regulation and teamwork, students have channeled their creativity into writing and performing their own unique plays.

Here's a glimpse into the unique and imaginative stories brought to life by each class:

K2B - "The Magic Ocean"

This play tells the story of a group of friends—a pair of pilots, two scuba divers, and an explorer girl—who land on a mysterious island, where a friendly parrot welcomes them and inspires them to explore the ocean. Under the sea, they discover a magical world with mermaids, colorful fish, crabs, and a powerful ocean queen. During their adventure, they face playful but challenging octopuses and even a hungry shark. With the help of their new ocean friends, they learn to be brave and work together. In the end, they discover that the ocean is a place for everyone, where kindness, teamwork, and respect make all the difference.

K2C - "The Volcano's Secret"

In a world of tiny architects and hardworking students, a hidden danger lurks beneath the surface. While Spiders spin their webs and Students study with their magical Stuffies, a group of brave Miners discovers that the heat is rising. The Evil Lava Queen has awakened, and she plans to destroy everything in a fiery eruption! From the depths of the mines to the halls of the school, our heroes must unite. With the help of a Diamond Protector, a "sickly" superpower, and the bravery of the Stuffies, will the Queen be stopped? Or will her magic potion ensure she has the last laugh?

K2D - "The Silly Beach Treasure"

At Sunny Beach, pirates, ninjas, mermaids, and dinosaurs enjoy a fun day by the sea. When pirates find a treasure map, a silly search begins, and ninjas join in, hoping to find the treasure too. As everyone looks in all the wrong places, the search becomes playful and full of funny moments. Soon, pirates and ninjas begin to blame each other, but instead of fighting, they settle it with a fun dance battle. In the end, the mermaids reveal they hid the treasure to keep everyone safe and happy. The groups come together to share, dance, and celebrate learning that friends are the best treasure.
