Nido’s sports teams have been excelling in local competitions this season. The Middle School girls' football team is off to a strong start in the AFUTCOP league, with a 3–1 record in their debut season. The MS girls' volleyball teams are competing in the Spike League, showcasing their skills every Saturday. At the Nido Track & Field Invitational, over 200 athletes participated, with standout performances from Nido’s athletes. Varsity rugby and hockey teams wrapped up their seasons with strong performances at The Orchard School Invitational, with rugby earning a bronze medal and hockey reaching the semifinals. Meanwhile, the MS boys' football teams are in contention for the Copa Nido semifinals, with both teams performing well as the season nears its end.

AFUTCOP – MS Girls Football
Nido's Middle School girls football team has taken the Santiago soccer scene by storm! The Mighty Eagles are 3–1 through four matches in the prestigious AFUTCOP league. This marks Nido’s debut in the competition, spreading our wings across the city and facing off against some of the Metropolitan Region’s top teams. Don’t miss the next home match—Thursday, May 15 at 16:15—when the Eagles take on Lincoln Lo Barnechea.

SPIKE LEAGUE – MS Girls Volleyball
This season, our Middle School girls volleyball teams are battling it out in the highly competitive Spike League. Both the “Mini” and “Infantil” squads suit up every Saturday for top-tier action. The level of play in our program continues to rise, and fans can catch our girls serving aces and bringing the thunder at Nido on Saturday, May 17, as we host a full day of league matches in the Eagles' Nest.

Nido Track & Field Invitational
The Eagles’ powerhouse Track & Field program delivered another stellar performance at our April 26 Invitational. Welcoming over 200 athletes from eight local schools, the event was packed with fast times, soaring jumps, and standout efforts from our SAAC medal-winning athletes. With one meet left on May 31, our team looks ahead to hosting the SAAC Track & Field Championships right here at Nido in April 2026.

HS Rugby & Hockey
Nido’s varsity rugby and hockey teams capped off their seasons with strong showings at The Orchard School Invitational in Curicó. The rugby team opened with an intense match against eventual champions Bradford, playing tough and making their presence known. Meanwhile, our hockey team advanced from pool play to the semifinals and finished a solid fourth, while the rugby team earned a well-deserved bronze medal. Hockey action continues through June as our team competes in the Metropolitana 5’s League at National Stadium. Bravo to both united Eagles teams!

Copa Nido – MS Boys Football
The Middle School boys football teams are hitting their stride in Copa Nido play. Both teams are near the top of the standings as the season enters its final stages. This week, the Infantil team faced Hebreo on Wednesday and hosted Craighouse on Thursday. With two matches remaining, the Eagles are pushing for a semifinal berth. Meanwhile, the Mini team also played Craighouse on Thursday, entering the game with a strong 3–1–1 league record. Go Eagles!
