The International School Nido de Aguilas

Nido's unrivaled educational-activities program kicked off after-school last Monday, with massive numbers of kids connecting with new friends, exploring new passions, and putting their energy into action. Our ASA instructors and coaches focused the start of their lessons by building relationships, reviewing behavior and expectations, and reviewing how everyone can be a leader and model the Nido values. Students then engaged in team building, active play, creative thinking, design, cooking, trekking, gardening, and so much more, all while taking advantage of our beautiful campus and unique facilities.

The ES Eagle Sports program rolled out two new options for students this season, as Hockey and Track & Field were added to the portfolio. These new additions bolster the broad array of sports opportunities for Nido's elementary students. The aim of our ES sports program is to instill a love for the game, build team spirit, learn to be a good teammate, and develop the fundamental skills to grow and improve. More kids than ever before enrolled in Eagle Sports, Gymnastics, Tennis, and Swimming. The Nido pride is strong and our youngest athletes have certainly been inspired by our high school varsity players, many of whom have been working within the program to inspire a new generation of superstars.

There was also a huge turnout for our Season 2 MS sports program, which started this week, with students recognizing the value and sense of belonging that comes with being a committed Eagle athlete. We are all looking forward to another incredible season of Eagle Athletics, and we hope to see you out supporting our students, bringing the positivity, and volunteering to help through our NPA Booster Club. Check the news next week for all the upcoming events and dates you won't want to miss. Go Eagles!
