IB results are in! And they are excellent. Seventy five students of the Class of 2021 registered for the May 2021 Session –49 involved in the Diploma Program and 26 took the Partial Plan. Of the first group, 100% earned their diploma, which is 11 percentage points higher than the World Average and 75% earned a bilingual diploma.
“The IB experience for our recent graduates came with numerous teaching and learning challenges as we shifted through hybrid, on-campus or online models as a result of the pandemic,” explains Mister Kurt Supplee, IB Coordinator. “However, our students maintained their focus on their IB coursework, while modeling our Nido values of adaptability, engagement, and ingenuity at all times.”
Since the IB exam session was not held due to the pandemic, IB students were assessed on a combination of their non-exam coursework and their predicted grades as determined from their classwork throughout grades 11 and 12. Impressively, Nido students continue to significantly outperform the worldwide average on course grades, the IB core (EE, TOK and CAS) and overall diploma score. (See results below).
