Shadowing Day at Nido | April 25

One of the best ways to get a feel for a place is to experience it first-hand. Nido will offer precisely that through its Shadowing Day on Wednesday, April 25. Middle School and High School students that don't currently attend Nido are invited to come experience the academic program, the Nido style of teaching and learning, life on campus, and the diversity of our student body.

How does Shadowing work?

We offer students in 6th to 12th grade the opportunity to step into the shoes of a Nido student for a day. Visiting students will be assigned to a Student Ambassador of the same age. Ambassadors welcome the opportunity to meet visiting students and share their experiences with them. During Shadowing days, visiting students will experience a regular day at Nido together with their buddy.

RSVP at admissions@nido.cl. Space is limited!

WELCOME BACK FROM HS PRINCIPAL MCKENNA

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year! I love the start of school. It brings with it a new sense of possibility, excitement, and challenge.

WELCOME BACK FROM MS PRINCIPAL SHAWE

I trust that your child enjoyed the winter break – traveling, reading (I hope!), sleeping a bit later – and that she/he returned home today excited about the start of the new school year.

WELCOME BACK FROM ES PRINCIPAL JAMES

I hope your vacations were restorative and included plenty of family time and positive memories. One of my favorite parts about a new school year, is hearing all of the stories from students as I walk the playground and through classrooms.

WELCOME BACK FROM EYS PRINCIPAL COTA

One of my favorite aspects of working within the Early Years School (EYS) is being able welcome the new and returning students to the EYS. It is such a joy to see the excitement and sometimes the apprehensive looks upon their faces as they enter their classrooms filled with new friends, teachers and environments.

WELCOME BACK FROM ATHLETICS

At Nido, Athletics plays an important role in our community and especially in our student athletes' lives. We offer structured, organized sports and ongoing physical activities.

WELCOME BACK FROM THE ARTS

The Fine Arts Building Office would like to extend our welcome for the 2018-2019 school year. We'd like to invite you to the artistic activities we have scheduled throughout the year in hopes of counting with your presence as its the motivation and drive for our young artists.

NIDO ADULT SOCCER ACADEMY

Are you a Nido parent, alumni, or staff who loves to play soccer, but doesn't have a way to play? Join us on Mondays and Thursdays evenings beginning August 13 for the Nido Adult Soccer Academy.

A MESSAGE FROM HS PRINCIPAL PETIT

I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to work with your students during this year, most recently as the Interim Principal of the High School.
