Paz Nalegach Shares The Nido Way at "Educación del Futuro: importancia de los idiomas"

Paz Nalegach, Chilean National Plan Director, recently took part in the panel "Educación del Futuro: importancia de los idiomas", organized by the Asociación de Colegios Alemanes. The other participants included former Ministers of Education Sergio Bitar and Harald Beyer and Executive Director of Fundación Acción Educar, Raúl Figueroa.

The panelists spoke about the importance of learning other languages not only for the tools it provides, but also for a more connected, collaborative, and understanding society.

Our National Plan Director shared Nido's unique multilingual experience as our school curriculum offers three languages. "Learning another language is not only about decoding information, it is also about being open to a new cultural perspective and better understanding other human beings".

Regarding the Chilean national challenge of promoting English as a Second Language; Ms. Nalegach referred to Nido's summer workshop for public schools English teachers and emphasized our school's commitment to share the Nido Way with public schools.
