All are invited to Kermess, our largest event of the year, on Saturday, November 24, 11:00am - 4:30pm.
Kermess celebrates the diversity of the Nido community, which is currently comprised of 47 different nationalities. It is an international festival in which these various countries are represented, and it provides an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the cultures, traditions, and cuisine of each place. More than 30 participating countries will have their own stand where they will offer typical food and drink, as well as demonstrating their culture and traditions. In total, Kermess typically draws approximately 4,500 attendees from inside and outside our school community. There will also be a variety of games, rides, and live entertainment!
Each year we aim for Kermess to be more sustainable. This year, along with the entrance ticket, adults will receive a plate, cup, and utensils (fork and spoon). Entrance is 5.000 for adults and children enter free. Students who do not bring their own set, or adults who lose their set, will be able to purchase one for $1.500 at the food ticket cashier. Kermess 2018 proceeds will go towards Nido's sustainability plan.
Bigger than ever!
Like last year, Kermess will expand to the Middle School Plaza! The food ticket cashier will be located by the ES Media Center entrance, and the stage and several popular food stands will be in the Middle School Plaza. Please bring a blanket to enjoy a picnic with your delicious snacks in front of the show!
THANK YOU TO OUR KERMESS SPONSORS!
