Improv Show & Drama Fest

On Tuesday, November 28 at 5pm in the Theater two Improv classes will compete against each other for the title of Improv Kings and Queens.

Both classes have practiced throughout the semester the skills of constructing a scene that is made up on the spot. The students have learned how to give and accept offers, endowing their partner with information that moves the improv along amongst other elements.

On Thursday, November 30th at 5:30pm two classes of Drama will present a performance on stage.

The Devising class will be performing original material, written, directed and acted by them, and the Theatre Production class will be perform scenes from different plays.

This is the culmination of both semester courses. Come see what our students have done!

WELCOME BACK FROM HS PRINCIPAL MCKENNA

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year! I love the start of school. It brings with it a new sense of possibility, excitement, and challenge.

WELCOME BACK FROM MS PRINCIPAL SHAWE

I trust that your child enjoyed the winter break – traveling, reading (I hope!), sleeping a bit later – and that she/he returned home today excited about the start of the new school year.

WELCOME BACK FROM ES PRINCIPAL JAMES

I hope your vacations were restorative and included plenty of family time and positive memories. One of my favorite parts about a new school year, is hearing all of the stories from students as I walk the playground and through classrooms.

WELCOME BACK FROM EYS PRINCIPAL COTA

One of my favorite aspects of working within the Early Years School (EYS) is being able welcome the new and returning students to the EYS. It is such a joy to see the excitement and sometimes the apprehensive looks upon their faces as they enter their classrooms filled with new friends, teachers and environments.

WELCOME BACK FROM ATHLETICS

At Nido, Athletics plays an important role in our community and especially in our student athletes' lives. We offer structured, organized sports and ongoing physical activities.
