Nido de Aguilas to pleased to present the 2nd annual Chamber Music Fest. This year's festival participants include 35 Nido students from the Elementary, Middle, and High schools as well as students from Weston Academy.

The Chamber Music Fest is two days of workshops and master classes for participants on November 21 and 22, followed by a final concert in the Nido de Aguilas Theater on Wednesday, November 22 at 6pm. Selections featured in the concert include the Famous "Second Waltz from Suite Orchestra" by Dmitri Shostakovich, the well-known "Turkish March" by Ludwig van Beethoven, "Violin & Oboe Concert" by Johann Sebastian Bach; and many more.

The clinicians leading the master classes are Lee Ann Edwards (Flute and Recorder, USA), Anna Wiesner (Cello, Poland), Maria Carmen Garcia (Cello, Chile), Justin Gibbs (Trumpet, UK), Milan Nenin (Guitar, Serbia), Caroline Maiava (Piano, Strings, Voice, NZ), Marta Mackiewicz (Violin, Poland), Aoise O'Dwyer (Violin, Ireland), Cristina Rodriguez (Piano, Chile/UK), and Erick Delgado (Clarinet, Chile). Master classes are open to the public to observe, and the schedule may be seen here. We hope many from our community will take advantage of this opportunity and join us for the final performance on Wednesday, November 22 at 6pm.

The Nido Chamber Music Fest is sponsored by Con Tutti and Yamaha. Both will be on the 2nd level of the Arts Building (cafe area) and parents and students may bring in their instruments for maintenance or browse their selection of instruments and instrument parts for purchase.
