Each year Nido greets many new high school students. Some have switched schools frequently in the past, but for others it will be the first time they've left home. You can be certain that we will do all we can to welcome you to our campus. Your counselors, teachers, and students will do their best to help get you acclimated to your new school.
One of the things you will want to do is review the information on Nido courses, International Baccalaureate options, graduation requirements, and extracurricular activities. Course Description Book Online? All of us look forward to welcoming you to your new school.
Developing Your Schedule
You are welcome to develop a tentative schedule of courses in advance of your move. When you arrive in Chile you will meet with your counselor to review this information and make any needed changes. In some cases it will also be necessary to meet with teachers before a final schedule can be determined. Once the Nido Admissions Office has notified the Counseling Office of your acceptance and definite intentions to enroll, your course requests will be added to our computerized scheduling system. It is helpful to complete the admission process as early as possible since your course requests cannot be entered until the process is concluded. New students are scheduled on a first-come first-served basis so by registering early you'll be more likely to get your preferred courses. |
