Elementary School Lunch Service

Students in the Elementary School eat in the ES cafeteria and choose from a selection of balanced hot meals, with a daily vegetarian option, always accompanied by fresh vegetables, salads, and fruit options. A full hot meal plan includes a choice of salad options, a soup of the day (May-September), a choice of one of two main course options (including a vegetarian option), a choice of dessert options (always including a fruit option), bread, and juice (although water is always available). The cafeteria can provide a hypocaloric meal option (for students with calorie restrictions) and a soft diet option (for students requiring more easily digestible meals) when students have been prescribed special diets by their physicians. All ES students should bring reusable water bottles and healthy snacks from home for their daily breaks.

Middle/High School Lunch Service

In the MS/HS cafeteria, students have a wide selection of healthy sandwiches, salads, natural juices, fruits, cereal bars, and yogurts, in addition to the daily hot items. For all students, a full hot meal plan includes a salad bar, a soup of the day (May-September), a choice of one of two main course options (including a vegetarian option), a choice of dessert options (always including a fruit option), bread, and juice (although water is always available). The cafeteria can provide a hypocaloric meal option (for students with calorie restrictions) and a soft diet option (for students requiring more easily digestible meals) when students have been prescribed special diets by their physicians. MS and HS students may choose to select other items à la carte instead of purchasing the full hot meal plan, and for breaks during the school day, all MS and HS students have a choice of bringing healthy snacks from home or using the cafeteria’s snack bar service.

ECC Snacks & Kinder 2 Lunch

Please note that Kinder 2 students should bring lunches prepared and packed at home for eating in the classroom. Lunches should be comprised of healthy foods in appropriate portions, and parents will be notified if any of a child’s classmates have serious food allergies that prohibit the presence of certain food items, like nuts, in a classroom. All ECC students should bring reusable water bottles and healthy snacks from home for their daily breaks.
