Nido Parent Association
The Nido Parent Association (NPA) at Nido de Aguilas, formerly known as the PTA, works to promote involvement of the school community through social and educational events, with the aim of enhancing open and transparent communication among the parent-teacher community, school administration, and the governing Board of Directors.
All of this is in order to meet the NPA mission of fostering a sense of community, building school spirit, constructively supporting educational programming, promoting enthusiasm for learning, and encouraging students to contribute positively to society.
New members of the school community are assisted with their arrival at Nido via the NPA Transitions Program. We welcome the involvement of all parents and staff and encourage the sharing of ideas and previous school experiences.
NPA volunteers contribute to Nido's continuing growth and journey in becoming a world leader in international education. The NPA invites every Nido family to join us in this endeavor. The Nido Parent Association is a partnership among parents, principals, teachers, and school staff/leaders. Together, we strive to make Nido the very best school possible for our children. The NPA is for everyone and benefits all of our children.
You can volunteer daily, weekly, monthly, or once a year. If you do not have time to volunteer, you can still support the NPA by joining and attending fun school and NPA-sponsored events. All of these efforts benefit our children's educational experience. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com to volunteer.
The NPA Store is to the left of the main entry stairwell leading from the car park up into the International Park.
Monday to Thursday: 2:00 to 3:30 pm
Friday: 11:45 am to 3:30 pm
- The store is not open during the vacations.

- The Store holds inventory for Elementary School uniform requirements as well as Middle School and High School Physical Education (PE) uniforms.

If you have 1 or 2 hours a month and would like to be involved, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Join us for quilting, fun, and friendship. Meetings are held every Friday morning at a member's home. All levels of quilting experience are welcome; if you don't have any ability but would like to learn, we will be happy to get you started. Basic sewing skills are recommended.

Join other Nido parents on weekly morning hikes in the beautiful foothills of the Andes Mountains!
A decision regarding the hiking destination will be made by the group that assembles, but the route is generally geared toward an intermediate (or above) level hike and is typically in the hills around Lo Barnechea.
Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Bring water! Don your hiking boots or trail sneakers, and we look forward to seeing you all!
Please contact Kim Wittenstrom directly to get your name on her mailing list, and she will inform you of the details of each upcoming hike: firstname.lastname@example.org.
