The High School Girls Who Code club will be participating this year in the Technovation Challenge—a contest this August through December with 11 other High Schools in Santiago participating. The contest challenges our students to program an app that solves or helps alleviate a local problem or issue in one of the 6 categories: poverty, environment, peace, equality, education, or health.
The Girls Who Code club is searching for parents and alumni who are willing to come in at a given meeting time to help coach our girls' teams in any of the following areas: app development, business and marketing, public presence, social work, or nonprofit business.
