school activities and sports are important
to your Nido Middle School experience.
You have the chance to learn new skills,
make new friends, and discover your hidden
talents! Most students that participate
in after school activities have more fun
in school and make more friends. So take
a look at the exciting activities offered

Brain Builders
Students have the opportunity to develop
study skills, practice and improve on:
Math, Language Arts, Social Studies and
Spanish (ESL). Also, in Homework support
they have the opportunity to receive extra
help when needed to study or work on projects.
Creative Arts
Provide our students with the opportunity
to express their feelings, emotions, talents,
creativity and imagination through art
via activities involving music, dancing,
drawing, painting, crafts, textile construction,
cooking, drama, photography, etc.
Physical Activities
The mission of the Nido Athletic Department is to provide students with the opportunity to participate in interscholastic competition, learn the values of teamwork, discipline, and hard work while instilling life long skills that will allow them to be productive world citizens.
